SP Projects was appointed as Quantity Surveyor for a part new build and part refurbished primary school together with on and off-site car parking, associated drainage and external works. The existing building was listed and, therefore, underwent a sensitive and extensive refurbishment which joined to the new build element via a glass corridor. The steel framed building achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating and was procured under a JCT Design and Build contract, utilising a two-stage tendering process.
