SP Projects was appointed as Quantity Surveyor and CDM Adviser for the refurbishment and conversion of the People’s Market into Tŷ Pawb. The project comprised significant demolition as well as alterations to convert a multi-storey car park and indoor market into an art gallery, performance space, offices, studios and market stalls. The works were procured under the JCT Design & Build Contract, utilising a two-stage tender process with Early Contractor Involvement, the project achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating and was completed on time and within budget.
