SP Projects took the role of Project Manager for the refurbishment and alterations to the existing Music Department. The project comprised the complete refurbishment of the existing School of Music buildings, inclusive of a large glazed rear extension to accommodate refreshment and break out spaces as well as the associated demolition of adjacent temporary performing studios. The project was procured under a Design and Build Building Contract and, adhering to the requirements of the BREEAM Refurbishment and Fit Out standards, the project achieved a Very Good rating. The project also achieved BIM Level 2 and used the “A360” common data environment.
